The Nostos is a well maintained, and beautifully renovated 13th century house is in the old quarter of Chania with its quaint and atmospheric narrow streets behind the Venetian harbor.   Nostos is a fine example of a Venetian building, and has 12 artistically designed studios and hotel rooms for 2, 3 or 4 people.
		There are 7 studios with a small kitchenette and 5 rooms with a refrigerator, all with wooden floors and beamed ceilings, arranged here and there throughout the building rather like individual dwellings, some with sleeping galleries, all having unique and charming interiors along with air conditioning (included in the price), and shower/WC. Only 3 of them have a sea view but there is a quaint and romantic roof terrace where guests can sit and gaze over the rooftops of the town and all across the harbour.
The hotel has a charming breakfast room offering an excellent and varied breakfast, and reception area. There are safety deposit boxes, available for a small charge, at the reception. The position of the Nostos allows easy access to a wide choice of tavernas, restaurants, cafes and shops, as well as to the rich nightlife, which is centered around the harbour. The town has much to commend it and weeks could be spent discovering its many charms. For those wanting the sea and sand, a 15 minute walk beyond the harbour will bring you to the sandy town beach.
