This small, quaint fishing village is located on the southerly coast of Crete, approx. 70 km south of Heraklion. Up until a few years ago, the village remained untouched by modern life but visitors slowly uncovered its secret charms and since then some recent development has taken place. The village itself is made up of two parts, Keratokambos and Kastri, and boasts a long stretch of sand and pebble beach. The road running through the village, runs parallel to the sea and hosts small tavernas and cafenia perfect for watching life go by and in which one can sit and unwind under the shade of the tamarisk trees. On the right side of the beach is a little harbour where fishing boats are moored and a small selection of tavernas can be found. The village itself offers also a variety of shops.

Keratokambos is an ideal location for those who enjoy going on walks or those with an interest in wild plant life, as well as for those who simply want to relax in the laid back style of Cretan life.

These recently built apartments are quietly positioned on a slope, looking out over the small harbour of Keratokambos. The two apartment buildings are set in a pretty garden and comprise of 4 studios and 2 small apartments, all of which are furnished in a tasteful modern style.

A: Four spacious studios, for 2 people, with an open plan living/bedroom with kitchenette and shower/WC. From the balcony or terrace there are wonderful views down to the picturesque harbour and across the sea.

B: Two small apartments, for 2-4 people, with one double bedroom, an open plan living room with two sofa beds, kitchenette and shower/WC. Each balcony or terrace has lovely sea views and a view of the harbour.

The windows are all double-glazed and have mosquito nets. The couple who own the apartments live on the first floor and are very happy to help their clients in any way that they can. Linen is changed once weekly and cleaning is only on arrival. The beach is only a ten-minute walk away, as are the shops and tavernas.

Pan Apartments offer an ideal setting for those seeking a peaceful holiday in natural surroundings. Car hire is recommended.

These newly built studios are situated on the slope of a hill, looking down onto the quaint harbour and across the Libyan Sea. Each studio is simply but tastefully furnished and ideal for 2-3 people. They each have a dining area/bedroom with one double bed and one single bed, kitchenette and shower/WC. Air conditioning is included in the price. From the balcony there are outstanding views across the sea and over the surrounding countryside. The beach, along with a taverna and some shops are only a 10 minute walk away. Car hire is recommended.
