  • DAY 2: Sunday - Dubrovnik – Korcula

The far south of Croatia holds many gems. Start with an optional walking tour* of Dubrovnik, which has rightly earned the nickname 'Pearl of the Adriatic'. Game of Thrones fans may recognise it as 'King’s Landing'. Dubrovnik’s mighty city walls will swiftly transport you back in time to when this was an independent republic which successfully rivalled the Venetian Republic.  Leaving Dubrovnik you'll stop for a refreshing dip near the Elaphiti Islands before arriving on Korčula. You’ll know Korčula* was a Venetian stronghold as soon as you lay your eyes on the many lion statues on the town’s facades and gates, inter-twined with some of the most outstanding stonework you will get see anywhere on the Adriatic coast. Overnight in Korčula.
*Optional walking tour package: Dubrovnik town tour with a coach transfer from Dubrovnik port to the Old town
*Optional walking tour package: Korčula town walking tour

  • DAY 3 – Monday Korcula – Pucisca (Island Of Brac) – Omis

Breakfast with a view this morning before sailing around the tips of the Pelješac peninsula and Hvar Island, there may even be time for a refreshing dip along the way. Stop off at the island of Brač to visit the home of ‘Croatian Marble’. You may have seen this high-quality limestone already, on the front of the White House in Washington DC or the Bundestag in Berlin, but the optional tour* to the still-operating stonemasonry school in Pučišća gives you the chance to learn more about how they shape this stone. Back at the mainland, you'll see some stunning rocks forming the backdrop to the lovely settlement of Omiš at the mouth of Cetina River. Consider exploring the Cetina River canyon on a boat excursion**. Overnight in Omiš.
*Optional walking tour package: Stonemasonry School in Pucisca
    **Optional excursion: Cetina river

  • DAY 4: Tuesday - Omis – Split – Excursion Skradin & Trogir

You may think that you'll not find anywhere as beautiful as sailing along the Croatian coast. Perhaps so, but there are sites on the Croatian mainland which surely parallel it, such as the Krka River and its stunning estuary. A coach trip brings you to the small town of Skradin, the guardian of the mouth of River Krka, and the gateway to its National Park. It's a place where tumbling waterfalls meet serene lakes and is definitely worth a visit. After returning to the sea you'll visit Trogir, a petite island with a bridge joining it to the mainland. A showcase of stunning architecture founded upon Greek and Roman heritage, Trogir has UNESCO protection, just like its neighbour Split, your next stop. Explore on your own or join an optional walking tour* to learn about Diocletian’s Palace, once the Roman Emperor’s retirement estate and today the lively centre of the town.  Dinner on board and overnight in Split.
*Optional walking tour package: Split Walking Tour

  • DAY 5: Wednesday - Split – Hvar – Vela Luka (Island of Korcula)

Of all the islands dotting the horizon opposite Split, Hvar is one of the best-known. It is home to purple lavender fields, potent red wines and glitzy jet-set feasts on the starlit waterfront. This is especially the case in its prime hotspot, the Old Town of Hvar, also the home of the oldest theatre in Europe and organized tourism in Croatia! Join an optional walking tour* to learn more about the interesting history of the town and the island, before sailing over for a swim at the beautiful archipelago of ‘Pakleni’ Islands. Later in the afternoon, drop the anchor in Vela Luka on Korčula, where you will enjoy dinner and overnight.
*Optional walking tour package: Hvar town

  • DAY 6: Thursday - Vela Luka (Island of Korcula) – Pomena (Island of Mljet) – Slano

Your captain will choose a secluded bay in which to start the day. Surrounded by dense green forests which earned Korčula its name and fame, enjoy the sound of silence as you immerse yourself in the essence of this region: the crystal blue sea. Then continue to another verdant island, this time, Mljet. The National Park on the island is home to two saltwater lakes connected to the sea via a narrow canal. Nature lovers will get a kick from hiking or cycling here, possibly even kayaking to the small inlet in the centre of the lake, with its 12th-century Monastery of St. Mary. Alternatively, join an optional excursion** – but whatever you do, don't miss out on Mljet! Spend the evening in the small settlement of Slano on the mainland, once adored by Dubrovnik sea captains. You'll understand why when you take your first stroll along the waterfront.
**Optional excursion: Mljet National Park, free time in the National Park.

  • DAY 7: Friday - Slano – Dubrovnik

In the vicinity of Slano, the little town of Ston has several claims to fame: strong wines, ancient salt production and succulent oysters and mussels. The optional tour 'Taste of Dalmatia'** highlights all these treasures, but you can also just relax in Slano before sailing out to Dubrovnik. Midway, a dip near Lopud Island gets you ready to join an optional guided tour* of Dubrovnik Old Town. Surrounded by immense city walls, you'll walk the same streets as the cast and crews of Game of Thrones, Star Wars and Robin Hood. Enjoy an evening of romance, glitz and glamour, as you will be staying in Dubrovnik overnight.
*Optional walking tour package: Dubrovnik town tour with a coach transfer from Dubrovnik port to the Old town
    **Optional excursion: Taste of Dalmatia
