Aegina
Aegina Town
Aegina Town is a very traditional Greek town. The main beach is within easy reach of our properties and has shallow water - ideal for children. Rocky coves and secluded bays are also not far away and make an excellent base for snorkelling or fishing. Aghia Marina is a more developed resort but still has a strong Greek character; a safe, gently shelving beach for children and easy access to the rest of this beautiful island.
There is an excellent bus service from Aegina Town to the other places of interest on the island. The island of Aegina is famous for its pistachio nuts (allegedly over 1 million trees on the island) and these can be bought from most shops in the town.
