The Agios Nikolaos Hotel is a luxury property built on a small headland just above the harbour of the small and exclusive resort of Sivota. This hotel has very spacious accommodation, excellent cuisine and the feeling that you are on a private island. There is a hotel boat moored ready to take you around to the harbour or off to an excursion on one of the uninhabited islets nearby. The Agios Nikolaos Hotel is ideal for honeymooners and the large suites are perfect for families wanting a peaceful holiday.
Accommodation
The hotel consists of 40 deluxe twin rooms and suites of different sizes. The suite for 4 persons has a twin bedroom and double sofa bed in the living area for children; the suite for 6 persons has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a living area with double sofa bed for children. Deluxe twin rooms can sleep up to 3 persons. All rooms have air conditioning and have balcony or terrace with sea view.
Several suites were upgraded in 2004 offering more space, style and facilities.
Facilities
A large and airy reception, 2 restaurants, downstairs is the buffet restaurant (HB) and upstairs is the a la carte restaurant. The hotel employs an Italian chef and the food here is truly excellent. The hotel boasts a freshwater swimming pool, with sunbeds and parasols on the sunbathing terrace alongside a pool bar.
Steps lead down to the beach area. The beach itself is quite small, however the hotel has built a wooden platform with sunbeds and parasols where guests can sunbathe and swim in the crystal clear waters. Please note that due to the nature of the hotel and the amount of steps we would not recommend the Agios Nikolaos hotel to those with walking difficulties.
