The Dar les Cigognes (House of the Storks) is a beautiful small riad located opposite to the Royal Palace, well managed and elegant with areas of minimalist chic. Originally a merchants home with a mandate from the palace the original walls of this fascinating building date from the 17th Century. A team of nearly 50 craftsmen laboured to bring the Dar les Cigognes to its current interpretation of its former glory.
The Dar les Cigogne is a short walk to the Djemma el Fna and the El Badi Palace amongst many sights; its location is ideal for the avid sightseer, shopper and traveller looking to relax. The streets behind the riad lead into the Mellah; Morocco's largest and original Jewish quarter.
