About Kassiopi

As the road begins to change direction from east to north we find Kassiopi, once a sleepy fishing village and now a thriving harbour resort in a traditional setting. Kassiopi has everything to offer including well-stocked supermarkets, bakeries, bars, craft and souvenir shops (the lace making here is legendary), restaurants and tavernas.

All the beaches are rocky or pebbly, but the main one, Kalamionas, is a Blue Flag winner. Along the coast there are smaller, secluded beaches to explore. Kassiopi appeals to many - there's a wealth of shops and bars for those who prefer a lively holiday; there are some lovely walks nearby for those who prefer a quieter break.
