North Pole Post Office - Day Trip to Lapland - 2006

At last Santa's elves have revealed the location of the original Post Office. It is located at Vaattunki, in a forested setting above the Arctic Circle.

At a hidden location in the middle of the wilderness lies Santa's original Post Office. Imagine the thrills of seeing his elves sorting his Christmas post. You may even post some of your Christmas cards from here. Here too you will be able to enjoy meeting Santa's very own reindeer, ride with the huskies and on the snowmobiles. Will any magical events unfold before your eyes? Will you see Santa's original star navigation system? However of one thing we are certain, this is a beautiful uncommercialised setting that will long remain vivid in your memory.

After arriving in Rovaniemi you will be taken out into the forest to begin your programme of activities which includes skidoo rides, reindeer and husky sleigh rides and snowmobiles for adults and children. Lunch at a traditional wooden restaurant will be included in the day.

Each family will have the opportunity to meet Santa on an individual basis either at his post office or in one of his kotas on his private island.

NB: This location, north of Rovaniemi, was not affected by the poor snow levels of early 2003.
