About Herodion Hotel
Situated at the foot of the Acropolis and the most significant archaeological sights, this family owned hotel offers warm hospitality and the closest location to the new Acropolis Museum of any hotel, just thirty meters from its South Entrance.
Set in the upscale Acropolis residential neighbourhood, next to the historic Plaka district, the Herodion Hotel is the only hotel with sweeping views of both the Parthenon and the new Acropolis Museum, the landmark of contemporary cultural Athens. This unparalleled location offers an ideal opportunity to explore historic Athens attractions; the Acropolis Metro station is just steps from the hotel.
Accommodation: The Herodion features 86 guestrooms and 4 mini suites. All rooms are soundproof and air-conditioned and well appointed with deluxe Cocomat bedding, luxury linens, refrigerator and minibar, flat screen TV, in-room safe, and Wi-Fi. Many rooms feature walk-out balconies and Acropolis views. There are single, double & superior rooms (with or without Acropolis views) and Junior Suites, which are perfect for a family.
Facilities: Take in spectacular views of the Parthenon and the Acropolis Museum from the rooftop. The restaurant here has a decked area and serves Mediterranean cuisine with Greek influences, and a variety of cocktails. In between, guests can enjoy snacks and homemade desserts in the covered area in the hotel's back garden. An indoor restaurant is also included and American breakfast is served.
"Just arrived back and wanted once again to thank you for helping to organise such a terrific holiday. Naxos is a jewel; the Lagos Mare delightful with lovely staff; and the Herodion in Athens a great location. Their new rooftop restaurant Point is superb. The only complaint was rather rattle and poor aircon and quite rude/abrupt reception staff but otherwise all other staff delightful. These two comments I now see are echoed on Tripadvisor so might be useful info - but in the scheme of things, minor. We particularly appreciated your responsiveness to the last minute changes. "
