About Stella Studios
The studios enjoy a wonderful view of the unspoilt countryside and Kato Zakros Bay.
The property has been built in traditional style, using dark wood and stone throughout. The interiors have been cleverly furnished with old everyday farming implements (scythes, iron stirrups, rabbit traps & cowbells).
There are three studios with the same basic decor, although they do vary inside.
Zakros Studio: A very small studio with a double bed, WC & shower, sofa, kitchenette with a small oven and a terrace. Zakros Studio has a saloon-type half-door, separating the bathroom.
Minos Studio: A double bed with a living room and a sofa, kitchenette with a small oven, WC & shower and sitting area.
Kriti Studio: A double bed with a living room, separated by an uneven brick wall partition, kitchenette with a small oven and WC & shower.
Thirty meters away from the old apartments are five new studios.
The property is surrounded by trees and the garden is a lit up at night by garden lanterns and fairy lights in the trees. Ilias and his wife Stella, who run the apartments, are extremely hospitable.
Ideal location for walkers, people wanting to experience non-commercial villages, and anyone seeking nature, peace and quiet.
Just a ten minute walk away on the sea front, there are four excellent tavernas. Shops, mini markets, petrol station and café are to be found in the village of Pano-Zakros, approximately 15 minutes drive from the studios.
