DINING AT DOMAINE MALIKA
One of the goals of the Domaine Malika guest house is to offer a gastronomic table d’hôte menu representative of the host country, Morocco, a country full of contrast with multiple influences. The cuisine at the guest house is as warm, colourful, aromatic, subtle and mysterious as the landscapes of the High Atlas and it is as generous as the inhabitants of the Ouirgane Valley.
The chefs will seduce guests with their creative and surprising cuisine which harmoniously blends tradition and modernity. The harmonious blend of herbs spices and aromas are delicately brought together to seduce the pallet. Vegetables from the garden, fruit from the orchard and local products from the nearby souks are brought to you plate to enhance their flavours.
The open-air restaurant in Ouirgane Valley is a supreme delight on a summer’s evening, a candlelit dinner surrounded by olive trees and the scent of flowers and herbs. In winter, the restaurant with its fireplace offers charm and a refined elegance.
Food enthusiasts will have the opportunity to take cooking classes to discover some of the culinary secrets such as spiced cream of beetroot, quails with cornmeal and almond stuffing or honeyed cream with lavender and saffron…
Cooking classes are available at Domaine Malika to give you the opportunity to immerse yourself in local culture by sharing moments of pleasure with our staff which are deeply rooted in the traditions and the everyday life of Moroccans.
Fouzia will help the gourmand and the gourmet, even beginners, to discover the secrets of a subtle and succulent cuisine during a half-day cooking lesson for up to 4 people, allowing them to learn how to prepare starters, main courses and deserts depending on the occasion. This fun experience will last until the participants get to sit down at the table to taste the dishes they prepared during the cooking class.

"Overall, a fantastic holiday! This was the first time we had used a website of this nature to arrange a trip but we would definitely do so again & have already recommended it to friends. Many thanks for a great holiday, John & Katherine"

"Just to let you know we have safely arrived home and had a great holiday! Riad Hikaya was fantastic. John was brilliant. Good location etc. Transfers all on time and excellent. All information was brilliant. No issues at all."
M Rose, Oct 2015
"the suites at Domaine Malika were superb although the food a little restrictive with only a set menu each day. We went to L'Oliviere up the road for lunch as it had a more varied menu. The walk in the Atlas was just right and our guide - Hassain was excellent."
D Moorhouse, May, 2015
"We had heavy rain and major thunderstorms right through the first night at Domaine Malaika. We thoroughly enjoyed our suite there, and the staff changed their routines to suit guests, marvellous service and excellent food, highly recommended."
S Holdsworth, May 2016
"I cannot recommend Rediscover the World highly enough, Dawn was extremely helpful and very quick to respond, making booking the holiday effort less on my part. Everything that was organised for us went according to plan, from the transfers to the local guides. We also really appreciated the upgrade to the deluxe suite in the Ksar Anika for our silver wedding anniversary. Many thanks for all your help, we will definitely be booking with you again."
