About Riad Louna

The Riad Louna is a traditional guest house in the Medina , or old walled city, of Fez . Riad Louna receives you in the finest Fassi tradition of hospitality in a beautiful setting. Surrounding the courtyard fountain stand orange and lemon trees. The Riad is decorated with traditional glazed tile mosaïc, carved plaster and cedar ceilings. Together, these elements characterize classical Arabic-Islamic architecture; the riad was fully restored in 2001.

The Riad contains three suites adjoining the courtyard garden, one smaller room, and small upstairs suite, or Messria. All rooms have private bathrooms and are luxuriously apointed. Reviews

"Our English speaking driver Yousef was excellent. He was knowledgeable about the places we visited, and discussed the culture and country with us. Nothing was too much trouble for him. We did, unfortunately get sick yousef drove me to a pharmacy late at night and translated to ensure we got the right medication. Yousef was a thoroughly pleasant and professional young man who really added to our holiday experience."

"We decided our own itinerary which Rediscover then put together - bus, train, booking of hotels and riads, tours and car hire with driver. Everything worked perfectly and we were very happy with accommodation. Particular mention must be given to our driver, Jamal, who was the perfect companion at the end of our holiday - even taking us to his home for a meal before taking us to the airport."
