About Les Jardins de la Medina
Les Jardins de la Medina is just 10 minutes walk south of the Djemma el Fna and located near to the Mellah (old Jewish quarter) and the Saadian Tombs. Les Jardins has riad qualities but this has been combined with architectural and gardening imagination into a 'best of both worlds' boutique hotel.
One clear winning point for Les Jardins de la Medina is its garden. As well as being able to lounge by the pool the garden is big enough for you to find a quiet spot with a bench or small table and chairs and read, enjoy a drink or simply absorb the atmosphere.
This hotel is available as part of any tailor made holiday with Rediscover the World.
Accommodation: thirty six rooms with a choice of double or twin beds decorated in tasteful and elegant but simple fashion, situated on a low-level development around the pool and gardens. All rooms have satellite TV, mini-bar, safe, a/c, tiled floors, large bathrooms and overlook the gardens or pool. Guest rooms open onto a well tended garden overflowing with palm trees and flowers which surround a good sized pool. All rooms have access to wi-fi.
Facilities: delightful restaurant serves a mixture of Mediterranean and Moroccan cuisine, using fresh, local produce and bar which can spill out towards the pool. Lounge, heated swimming pool (winter) and sun terrace, roof terrace, boutique, hammam and massage. Moroccan cooking courses are available.
A fully rejuvenated spa and beauty centre has been a great success. The spa uses completely natural products and a jacuzzi and hammam are also available. There is also a fitness room below the hammam. Also available for guests (and non-residents) to pre-book is the excellent cookery school.

"Special mention for our final stay in Marrakech (not enough room on the form!!) at Riad Kniza. We have never stayed anywhere that we have been more welcome. Truly felt like our home and the staff were WONDERFUL! Genuinely sorry to leave and will definitely be back, Location excellent, service and food exemplary, and very good value for money. A little haven in the lunacy of this amazing city. Also Kasbah Ellouze - stunning location and brilliant staff. Felt very authentic. Landscape is dramatic and hugely photogenic. Desert trip amazing - we had the camp to ourselves so it felt very personal. Would have perhaps liked to stay an extra night as the dunes are quite breathtaking. Organisation completely hassle-free. Car hire (and Neureddine, the rep) very helpful. Driving pretty much without hitch apart from one bandit incident down south (we had a heads up from your info, so managed to avoid!!) Roads excellent, especially over the Atlas. A really fantastic trip, thank you"
