About Hotel Cubo

The Hotel Cubo is located in a historical building protected by the Institute for the Protection of the Cultural Heritage of Slovenia. This is ideal for a boutique hotel like Cubo which represents a new beginning for Luckmann’s House (Luckmanova hiša) which has adorned one of Ljubljana’s main streets since 1932. After the Second World War the building was home to a ballet school, a magazine office, an exam centre and the famous café Miška before becoming the Hotel Cubo. The hotel borders the old city on one side and is within walking distance to Ljubljana’s attractive Tivoli Park on the other. While the hotel is easily accessible by car, the traffic-free zone of medieval Ljubljana is just across the street.

Accommodation

Hotel Cubo has 26 rooms - 14 doubles, 7 twins, 3 singles & 2 Junior Suites. The Junior Suites are at the corner of the buildings with castle view and can be connected to a double room, providing a comfortable space for families. All rooms have the following facilities: air conditioning, telephone with free calls abroad, laptop-size safety deposit box, hairdyer, bathrobe, free Wifi, cable TV with more than 220 international channels, welcome tray with kettle, minibar, and free smartphone to use during your stay inside and outside the hotel.

Facilities

The hotel restaurant has been one of the favourite spots for gourmet dinner or lunch for business guests, foodies and everyone appreciating a culinary art of combining selected dishes and culinary approaches from around the world, including those of traditional Slovenian cuisine. The lobby bar next to reception is not particularly large, as the building architecture does not allow it. However, it is a pleasant space where you can have your morning coffee, enjoy a home-baked croissant, or treat yourself to a glass of good wine and chat with friends.
