About Dar Sultan

Located in the heart of the Kasbah, Dar Sultan offers a warm and colourful atmosphere. The house is 300 years old, lovingly restored in the purest Franco-Moroccan style. Its decor is eclectic, full of fantasy, made up of old objects brought back from Tetouan, the Rif and from around the world. Jean-Pierre, as a former Marine Officer knows the meaning of travelling all over the world!

Accommodation: The guest house Dar Sultan has seven rooms all different, colourful and comfortable, each is named after a district of Tangier - Marshan, Kasbah, Grand Socco, Spartel, Malabata, Skikda and Charf. Rooms are uniquely decorated with colourful Moroccan fabrics and artefacts from around the world. They are equipped with a private bathroom and open out onto the terrace or the interior courtyard.

Facilities: ­Free internet access and free on-site parking. Breakfast served until 10:30, at your convenience on the garden terrace or in the lounge. On the menu: an assortment of rich Moroccan pancakes, cakes, breads, accompanied by fresh fruit juices, homemade jams. A very good Moroccan and Mediterranean cook is on demand, just for guests; small dishes, served in a delicious Moroccan living room or on the terrace. You can choose between several menus featuring only organic products, prepared in accordance with Moroccan traditions and taste.

From the sunny terraces you can look over the city and the Straits of Gibraltar, even to gaze over the so close Spanish coast line. The guest house is open all year and has a caretaker for your peace of mind all through the day. Dar Sultan provides laundry service.
