Dar Loulema Guest House
(Essaouira)

The Dar Loulema overlooks the main square in Essaouira and has one of the best positions for visiting the old town, harbour and beach. "Dany and Raymond Lami fell in love with this old house and have restored it in pure Moroccan tradition so that their clients can enjoy the authentic magic of Mogador." Well maintained small riad, near to square with sea and harbour views. Public areas on ground floor plus seven rooms, including some that can take extra beds, themed in styles reflecting various parts of Morocco.
Accommodation:
Guests may choose to have breakfast in their room, on one of the terraces, in the patio by the central fountain or in one of the cosy lounges with fireplaces.
We were struck by the quality of the bathrooms at the Loulema, many in tadilakt rather than the tiles (more like Marrakech).
The Agadir room can have a separate little room for an older child, just a bed and some space so facilities are shared but it is just the other side of the stairs on the same level.
Standard rooms - 2 (Agadir), 3 (Marjorelle), 4 (Mogador), 5 (Todra - small)
Superior room - 1 (Marrakech)
Mini-Suites - 6 (Souira), 7 (Zagora)
Facilities:
Meals on request, roof terrace overlooking the sea, central square and harbour.
Transfer Time from Airport
