The minimum reservation for our accommodation only service is 3 nights in total, although not necessarily at same property. Simply contact us by phone or email or complete one of our enquiry forms. Why Rediscover? - All our reservations staff have worked in Morocco (or visited extensively) and will be more than happy to offer advice and suggestions on any of our featured destinations, tours and properties. Prices - our prices are similar to or quite often cheaper than our internet competitors or booking directly and significantly cheaper than those producing expensive brochures whilst our service, knowledge and after sales care is second to none. Security - Rediscover the World is a member of the TTA (T6816), we also hold our own ATOL bond (T7172). We therefore provide full financial security and assistance should any part of your holiday not happen entirely to plan. If you were to assemble your holiday yourself you may not have this sort of protection.

Riad Lydines is a guesthouse of magical allure, containing seven guestrooms and suites, each one quite different from its fellows. It is located in the heart of Marrakech's historic medina, a stone's throw away from the Saadian Tombs and the Royal Palace, and 5 minutes' walk from the famed Jemaa El Fna square.

This magnificent abode took shape through the joint creative skills of a team made up of both European designers and Moroccan craftsmen, "Mâallems", who put their all into bringing this luxurious haven of peace into being, while taking care to preserve its traditional 'bildi' style (tadellakt, zellij, carved cedar wood , etc.)

The owners have named this unique guesthouse, restored entirely by hand, Riad Lydines (House of the Hands) in honour of all the craftsman of Morocco whose age-old skills have made their land a truly magical Kingdom. This private world of sensory delight, spellbinding, luxurious, and discreet, offers you the warmest of welcomes along with top-quality, fully personalised service. Unlike other medina guesthouses, Riad Lydines boasts an imposing frontage, which opens on to a square planted with palm trees. Riad Lydines is built around a large, sun-drenched, flower-filled patio adorned with a magnificent pond.  In the midst of the patio, alongside the swimming-pool, an area shaded from the heat has been fitted out for the gentle art of relaxing.

Accommodation:

Seven rooms and suites on two storeys open on to the patio, all fully equipped, and decorated in the purest oriental tradition, offering you comfort, peace and quiet, and a real change of scene.

One Privilege Room (std.), Three Prestiges Rooms (superior), Two Deluxe Suites, One deluxe suite with private terrace and on-terrace jacuzzi. Each room and suite has its own design. All rooms and suites have air conditioning, TV/SAT/DVD/AUDIO player, direct phone, internet access, mini-bar, safety box, bathtub or shower, hair dryer, living area… Each Suite has in addition a fireplace.

Facilities:

A Moroccan "Behou" lounge and a fine library both open on to the patio, fine and artfully fitted out roof terrace (with its kaidal tent, VIP lounge and sun loungers) - from here you can admire the magnificence of Moroccan sunsets, with the majesty of the Atlas Mountains on one side, and the splendour of the Koutoubia Mosque on the other.

Open air Patio with pool, Moroccan lounge with open fireplace, Stocked library, Artfully fitted out terrace (kaidal tent, VIP lounge, deckchairs), Reception/concierge, Laundery and cleaning service.

Lunch and dinner service upon request, exclusively reserved for Riad clientele and prepared with loving care by master chef.

Oriental hammam, with or without body scrub, Aromatic massage with essential oils. Baby-sitting.

EXCLUSIVITY:

Possibility of taking over the whole of the Riad, 'everything included' - for example: full board, master chef, chauffeur with luxury car, guide and barouche as required, concierge and laundry. Organisation of private parties - birthdays, marriages, cocktails, etc.
