The Quinta Casa Branca is set in the beautiful, extensive grounds of a traditional family estate. Located a few kilometres from the centre of the old town of Funchal it is close to the amenities of the capital, yet far enough away to be a total haven in which to relax. The main house, overlooking the garden, has many period furnishings which contrast with the modern and stylish new wing.

Accommodation: The Casa Branca has an intimate atmosphere having only 43 rooms and suites. All have private facilties, hairdryers, cable TV, telephone, minibar, safe and balcony or terrace with glorious views over the gardens. Deluxe rooms (12) and suites (2) are also available and have in addition a CD player and, in the suites, a jacuzzi and separate lounge.

Facilities: Include a heated pool with pool bar, 2 restaurants, lounge with small library, cocktail bar, sauna, jacuzzi, gym and health centre offering facials and treatments (payable locally).
