Situated on the soutern approach to Midelt and surrounded by stunning mountain scenery, the Kasbah Asmaa is an excellent stop over for those of you en route from Fez to the south; alternatively they also offer a good lunch if you are doing the journey down in one day. Built in traditional kasbah style with local materials. Midelt is a peaceful place, located at 1500m and providing a good base for exploring the 'unspoilt' local countryside.
