We therefore provide full financial security and assistance should any part of your holiday not happen entirely to plan. If you were to assemble your holiday yourself you may not have this sort of protection.

A high quality riad-style hotel located on the northwest corner of the Medina. This property will appeal to those of you wanting a very traditional style combined with Marrakech levels of service and quality; this is the only Riad directly in front of the ocean!

The Riad Mimouna is near the "Squalla" quarter of the medina and is built into the remains of the first big mill of Essaouira. A dream from another century .... It was 1896 when Ferdinand SANDILLON built this wind-mill. Now, in an ambiance of the Berbere culture, beautiful carpets throughout the hotel rooms, splendid views of the sea and the medina, ceilings of fragrent thuya woods, beautiful salons, sunny terrace over the Atlantic, everything has been re-designed for your comfort.

Accommodation: A total of 33 rooms and suites, all en suite, many with sea view.

Facilities: In addition to the informal reception area there are a number of lounges, including seating areas on the various levels of the riad. There is a full-sized restaurant with excellent Moroccan cuisine and a cafe/bar "The Lobster Pot", on the roof terrace serving drinks and snacks all day; 24hr room service is available (restaurant times for the full menu and 24hrs for snacks and drinks). A traditional hammam is also at the Mimouna.
