Yllashumina Hotel

A family run, small, friendly hotel located at the foot of Yllastunturi fell in the village of Akaslompolo. This log cabin hotel is set in tranquil and picturesque scenery and offers simple yet comfortable accommodation in log cabins.

Yllashumina prides itself on personal service and a warm atmosphere with a simple yet sophisticated feel. The traditional log restaurant is renowned for good food.

The main building houses the reception, restaurant and Humina pub. Scattered around this main building are the log cabins, each of which has two separate rooms. The rooms sleep up to four, with the twin bed on the ground floor level and the double mattresses on the raised loft area. The cabin rooms are suitable for individual families as well as for parties up to eight.

Also available are log cabin apartments which sleep up to five. Log cabins, each with two individual apartments, are located 250m from the hotel reception.

Also available on request is a large cabin with its own log fire and sauna. This cabin has eight rooms and can accommodate parties up to 20 persons.

Overall the hotel has 16 cabins plus the large cabin, a sauna, reception, restaurant and Humina pub.
