The minimum reservation for our accommodation only service is 3 nights in total, although not necessarily at same property. Simply contact us by phone or email or complete one of our enquiry forms. Prices - our prices are similar to or quite often cheaper than our internet competitors or booking directly and significantly cheaper than those producing expensive brochures whilst our service, knowledge and after sales care is second to none. Security - Rediscover the World is a member of the TTA (T6816), we also hold our own ATOL bond (T7172). We therefore provide full financial security and assistance should any part of your holiday not happen entirely to plan. If you were to assemble your holiday yourself you may not have this sort of protection.

The Riad Mur Akush is located within 10 minutes walk of the Jemaa el Fna and close to all the major places of interest in Marrakech. The riad is also ideally located to explore the culinary delights of this beautiful city with excellent restaurants at the nearby Maison Arabe, Le Pavilion and Dar Moha.

The riad has been beautifully restored, striking a balance between the traditional and contemporary, and exudes understated class. The use of traditional materials and techniques ensures that the house has kept its identity.

The riad has five bedrooms, each of which has been designed with guests’ comfort in mind. All of the rooms are spacious with en-suite bathrooms; the beds have been handcrafted exclusively for the riad and the use of traditional materials and antique furniture means that each room has its own character.

All rooms are air-conditioned or heated for the long summer days and chilly winter evenings. The suite and the 2nd floor salon also feature traditional fireplaces.

Two Rooms:

Salam room: Double room situated on the 1st floor with antique French bed, small seating area and en-suite bathroom. The room has a romantic feel enhanced by the authentic metal moucharabieh (grille windows). Accommodates maximum of 2.

Hammam room: Double room with four-poster king size bed; situated on the 1st floor. Sitting room and en-suite bathroom with traditional zelliges and tadelakt; additional small seating area on the balcony. Accommodates maximum of 3 with extra bed.

Two Junior suites:

D'Olive junior suite: Large double room, situated on the ground floor. The room features a king size bed (crafted from original olive presses discovered in Berber villages); sitting area and en-suite bathroom with double sinks. Accommodates maximum of 3 with extra bed.

Yassin junior suite: Large double/twin room, situated on the 1 st floor. The room features a king size bed or two single beds; sitting area and large en-suite bathroom. Accommodates maximum of 3 with extra bed.

1 Suite:

Amel suite: This is the largest and most luxurious room. Situated on the 2nd floor, the suite consists of two separate rooms, one for sleeping and one for relaxing and enjoying the fireplace.

The suite also features two small balconies offering excellent views as well as providing natural lighting in the rooms.

Lounges & public areas:        

The riad features many alcoves and seating areas where you can relax and enjoy the fantastic hospitality. The dining room and lounge are located on the ground floor and are typically Moroccan in style. A second lounge complete with fireplace and TV can be found on the 2nd floor. The riad features a large patio with fountain and split level roof top terrace with views over the Medina .
