The minimum reservation for our accommodation only service is 3 nights in total, although not necessarily at same property. Simply contact us by phone or email or complete one of our enquiry forms. Prices - our prices are similar to or quite often cheaper than our internet competitors or booking directly and significantly cheaper than those producing expensive brochures whilst our service, knowledge and after sales care is second to none. Security - Rediscover the World is a member of the TTA (T6816), we also hold our own ATOL bond (T7172). We therefore provide full financial security and assistance should any part of your holiday not happen entirely to plan. If you were to assemble your holiday yourself you may not have this sort of protection.

Daniel, the owner of the Ryad el Borj, is extremely proud of his home – not a riad in the traditional sense of the word this is more like a house with a tower (Borj meaning tower in Arabic) which leads to some interesting discoveries.

Accommodation:

In total there are 4 rooms and one suite – there is an extra bedroom at the top of the house if you should need the extra room for exclusivity but although this has a private bathroom it is not ensuite.

For a special treat we recommend the suite – it is of generous proportions and has lots of comfy sofas. Its crowning glory is the four poster bed and guests have a choice of taking a relaxing bath or a quick shower. Ground floor rooms enjoy the peace and quiet if the courtyard with a profusion of trees and have a cool breeze during the day thereby the need for no air conditioning. The rooms on the second floor, being that little warmer benefit from air conditioning.

One of our favourite standard double rooms here is at the top of the tower with 14 windows of varying sizes giving unsurpassed views of the medina. As befits a house in the medina there is an ample terrace with seats and tables. An additional lounge at the top of the house affords privacy and for those not of faint heart there is a further terrace which can be reached from the lounge by means of a wooden ladder (no banisters). On a clear day the view of the Atlas Mountains is breathtaking. Due to the nature of the building there are quite a few steps.

Facilities:

For a small family group Daniel also owns a further small riad a few doors away with only two rooms and a small pool in the courtyard although guests at the Dar el Borj can also make use of this pool.

Breakfast can be taken in the breakfast room downstairs and there is also a lounge for relaxing.
