The minimum reservation for our accommodation only service is 3 nights for hotels (7 nights for self-catering). Simply contact us by phone, email or complete one of our online enquiry forms.

Security - Rediscover the World is a member of the TTA (T6816), we also hold our own ATOL bond (T7172). We therefore provide full financial security and assistance should any part of your holiday not happen entirely to plan. If you were to assemble your holiday yourself you may not have this sort of protection.

This one-time classical city is now Samos' main resort. Pythagorion is a very short transfer from the airport so there is no delay in geting straight into the holiday relaxation on arrival. A cosmopolitan town now, centred on a picturesque harbour, a good selection of places to eat and drink plus safe, shingle beaches nearby. The beautiful harbour, the archaeological digging sites, the Efpalinian Tunnel and the Roman Baths, combined with the endless beaches and the small fishing boats make the Pythagorion a delightful and a ideal place to spend a holiday.

The Doryssa Bay is on the beach of Potokaki. A complete summer resort, constructed with respect to the island’s architectural and cultural traditions, but at the same time ultra modern and equipped with all the amenities. Friendly service, spacious and attractive surroundings, crystal clear waters, delicious food, sports of all kinds are just some of the features of Doryssa Bay.

The main building consists of 180 air-conditioned and tastefully furnished rooms including full bathroom, mini fridge, safe, pay TV etc.

All the traditional styles of Samos are found in the resort’s village. Its 140 comfortable air-conditioned rooms with kitchenette all facilities of the hotel’s rooms make the guest feel well cared for. Stroll down the traditional lanes of the village and discover the square with its chapel, its kafenion, various stores and traditional workshops.

Our opinion: An outstanding hotel with excellent facilities. We would highly recommend the accommodation in the Doryssa Village.

The Hotel Proteas Bay is a brand new deluxe holiday hotel 1.5km from village of Pythagorion and directly on the beach. There is a breath taking view of the Aegean Sea and the Dodecanese.

The 94 luxurious rooms, 22 in the main building and 72 in bungalows combine, in a unique way, the traditional with the modern. All rooms are fully air-conditioned with veranda, sea view, mini bar, satellite TV and all modern facilities. Also at your disposal are the 2 restaurants, swimming pool with its own bar as well as 2 fully organised private beaches.

Our opinion: A large hotel with a good range of facilities. As the hotel is rather spread out and quite hilly we would not recommend it for those with walking difficulties.

Labito Hotel

The Labito is a lovely hotel at the center of Pythagorion only a few metres away from the port and from Tarsanas Beach. All of its rooms are air-conditioned with private facilities, telephone, radio and balcony. Enjoy your drink at the hotel’s bar in its quiet environment and atmosphere

Our opinion: A modest family run hotel in a quiet area and close to amenities.

FITO HOTEL

HYDRELE BEACH HOTEL / VILLAGE

The Fito hotel is located only 800m away from Pythagorion and is built in traditional Aegean architectural style. A colourful garden full of flowers, with a large swimming pool and its own organised beach with sport facilities.

All rooms are air-conditioned with amenities such as bathroom, fridge, telephone, music and veranda offer you a relaxing holiday.

The Hydrele complex is situated on one of the longest and most beautiful beaches of the island of Samos, “Potokaki”, just a 15 min walk from the harbour of Pythagorion. It is built in the local architectural style next to the sea.

Accommodation of 130 rooms is separated into two categories with double rooms offering a/c, direct dialing facilities, fridge, bathroom and balcony, with SV or lovely view of the countryside. Studios are fully equipped with private facilities, kitchenette, large verandas and satellite TV on request.

The hotel facilities include a large lobby area with reception, TV corner, Hairdressing salon, mini market, souvenir shop, antique shop. Leisure facilities include a swimming pool, restaurant with outdoor terrace, pool snack bar, hotel bar, children’s mini club, mini zoo and playground, beach bar with sun beds and umbrellas, watersports nearby.

This nice complex is located in the beautiful area of “Poundes”, only 1 ½ kms from Pythagorion, approx. 500m from the beach, on the hill overlooking the sea and with a fantastic panorama view of Turkey.

Facilities include reception, TV room (satellite tv and video), snack/pool bar, tennis, swimming pool, parking and shuttle bus service.

All rooms have ensuite WC/shower, telephone, radio, air conditioning, refrigerator, TV and balcony.

All rooms are sunny and comfortable each with fridge, a balcony, bathroom, music and telephone.

There is also a comfortable reception area with a bar-lounge, exterior verandas. The the family atmosphere and the astounding hospitality of Samos will ensure your stay is interesting and relaxing.

APARTMENTS “ POTOKAKI “

This A class complex is situated on the longest and most beautiful beach of the island of Samos “Potokaki”. Potokaki is a quiet area which is just 20 min. walk from the picturesque harbour of Pythagorion. From the port of Pythagorion you can take a boat or a hydrofoil in order to visit other islands like PATMOS, Fourni etc.

In Potokaki you can find restaurants, bars, grocery stores, beach volley, watersports and souvenir shops. Inside a beautiful garden are the apartments Potokaki, a brand new two-storey building which consists of 4 ground floor apartments (garden view), 4 apartments in the first floor (the first two of them with sea view) and 4 ground floor apartments directly on the beach. On the first floor is the magnificent suite with a stunning sea view.

Every apartment is approx. 55 sq. meters, offering separate bedroom, living room with TV and fully equipped kitchen. They are furnished with quality furnishing and can accommodate two persons in the bedroom and two persons in the living room. The bedrooms have air-conditioning and all apartments have a big terrace with sea or garden view and big bathroom.

This complex has a marvellous beach and swimming pool with sun beds and umbrellas (free of charge) as well as a tennis court and watersports are also available nearby. Needless to say that “Potokaki Apartments” is the ideal place to enjoy your holidays.
