SINARADES

Sinarades, a mere ten minutes drive from Pelekas and Agios Gordios beaches, is an enticing mix of the Byzantine and the Venetian whilst retaining much of its more recent but still traditional Greek charm. Around every corner of the narrow village lanes awaits a new delight for the visitor’s senses, including the delicious aroma of freshly baked bread from the wood-fired bakery. Many consider Sinarades to be the most perfect and unspoilt village on Corfu and who would argue? There are places for the visitor to eat, drink and enjoy the relaxed local way of life as well as the opportunity to swim in the sea nearby.

Sinarades is also home to the Museum of Folklore of Central Corfu (pictured here) as well as numerous churches and is a focus for walks in the surrounding area.
