The beautiful resort of Pyha is the setting for this three day trip to Lapland. Drive snowmobiles over open tracks and experience reindeer & husky sleigh rides as you begin your Arctic expedition. Treasure the experience as you finally meet Santa in his idyllic secret hideaway.

Pyha is a pretty village which is set in stunning scenery on the edge of the National Park Area, well-known locally for its excellent ski & spa facilities. It’s no wonder that Santa has chosen to reside in this marvellous location just above the Arctic Circle. While Father Christmas & the Elves relax in their cabins, you too can experience some of the best accommodation that Lapland has to offer. Choose from luxury suite accommodation, to a traditional log cabin or a relaxing hotel room. No matter where you choose to stay you won’t be disappointed by all that Pyha has to offer.

Transfers from Rovaniemi take approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes.

Day One

During your flight to Lapland today there may be a Christmas sing-song with the co-operation of the cabin crew. Leaving the UK far behind, you arrive at the airport, ready to depart to the scenic resort of Pyha. Once you arrive, you will receive your over garments before settling into your chosen accommodation. You may just encounter Tricky Dicky or one of his chums this evening, while tobogganing or playing in the snow. Tonight, relax in the main restaurant with a buffet style welcome dinner.

Today you begin your search for Santa in earnest. Let’s hope the elves won’t try to mislead you or you might lose your way! It’s an early start, so make sure you’re in time for breakfast. As you head to various locations, Santa’s reindeers are waiting to guide the way. If the magnificent reindeer can’t find the great man, then the energetic huskies may just succeed. You’ll break for lunch at an outdoor location before resuming your activities, including some snowmobiling. Did you catch a glimpse of Santa this morning? Before you return to Pyha for dinner you can have another look! On returning to resort, children can enjoy the entertainers, who will be performing in the hotel in the early evening.

If you did not find Santa yesterday, then today you must search again using every mode of transport at your disposal. Following breakfast, the brave husky dogs, the reindeer & your new friends the Special Elves will help you in your efforts once again as you endeavour to find Father Christmas. Santa is expecting to see all the children before it’s time for them to leave Lapland & a warm welcome is assured. Lunch will be provided at an outdoor location. In the early afternoon, it will be time to head to Rovaniemi for your return flight to the UK & your guides will provide you with your special souvenir licences to commemorate your visit to Lapland.
