All 155 rooms and suites are notable for their high quality, elegant interiors and hand-picked artworks. Each has its distinctive character, where classic elements are combined with modern design.

Continental Suite: the largest suite, measuring 110 square metres. Its terrace provides you with a fine view of the Oslo Fjord. It has a light and elegant lounge, with seating area, dining table, desk and guest toilet, and two connecting en suite bedrooms.

Royal Suite: the newest and finest suite, furnished in a luxurious and elegant style. The suite was originally named after a visit by Prince Phillip, Duke of Edinburgh. Offering luxury accommodation with a majestic view of the Royal Palace, it measures about 60 square metres and comprises a large lounge, with dining table, seating area and desk, and a superior bedroom. The suite also has a large bathroom and a guest toilet.

Junior suites: average 40 square metres in size – the perfect choice if you want extra space. Several have a terrace. Each suite is furnished in its own distinctive manner, with a comfortable seating area and desk. Some offer fine views of the Royal Palace, the Storting (parliament) building or the National Theatre, while others face the Oslo Fjord. There are also junior suites overlooking the quiet inner courtyard.

Deluxe double rooms: average 32 square metres in size with either a king-size bed or twin beds. While each room is unique, their common denominator is a tasteful design, a high standard and plenty of space. They offer the same level of luxury as the suite.

Superior rooms: average size of 24 square metres, with many unique features. All the double rooms offer a king-size bed. In addition to large and comfortable beds, the rooms are furnished in a practical manner with the emphasis on good quality and a high standard.

Standard rooms: have queen-size beds and average 20 square metres in size. They provide everything you need for a comfortable stay and a good night’s sleep. All the rooms are individually designed, and include a comfortable armchair as well as a desk should you wish to work. They allow you to enjoy the unique ambience for which Hotel Continental is justly famous.
