Morocco's coastline is beautiful and stretches for hundreds of miles and is for the most part totally undeveloped. Agadir in the south is the only resort as such, although the beaches at Essaouira and Oualidia are large and impressive too. Tiznit is a traditional town with a small pink-walled Medina; a good base to enjoy the national park as well as excursions into the Anti Atlas and along the coast.

The town of Sidi Ifni is quite unique in this part of Morocco as, until 1969, it was a Spanish enclave and so has a very different but fascinating atmosphere and style.
