Athens is the perfect place for a city break. Only four hours flying time from the UK and with a good choice of direct flights, many people choose to come here for a few days to unwind at one of its top hotels, savour the tasty Greek cuisine, shop for bargains in Plaka or simply to spend time wandering around its ancient treasures - the Acropolis; the Agora, the ancient market place; Hadrian's Arch and the Temple of Zeus. The city centre is actually very compact and is extremely easy to get around, due in no small part to the excellent metro and tram system.
To help you to enjoy the magic of this ancient city we have put together the following package. Remember, though, that all our holidays (and short breaks) can be completely tailored to your wishes, so if you would prefer a slightly different itinerary, please ask.

Day 2: |
In the morning you will enjoy a tour of the city. Visit the highlights of Athens, one of the most ancient cities in the world, her famed Acropolis and its museum. Afternoon at leisure. | ||
Day 3: |
All day at leisure to explore the city further. Alternatively you may wish to take an optional excursion to Cape Sounion or have a leisurely cruise around the Saronic Islands -Aegina, Poros and Hydra. | ||
Day 4: |
Private transfer to the airport. | ||
