			Reservations - All our holidays are tailor-made so please feel free to request any combination of hotels, riads or tours for your own holiday. The minimum reservation for our accommodation only service is 3 nights in total, although not necessarily at same property. Simply contact us by phone or email or complete one of our enquiry forms. Why Rediscover? - All our reservations staff have worked in Morocco (or visited extensively) and will be more than happy to offer advice and suggestions on any of our featured destinations, tours and properties. Prices - our prices are similar to or quite often cheaper than our internet competitors or booking directly and significantly cheaper than those producing expensive brochures whilst our service, knowledge and after sales care is second to none. Security - Rediscover the World is a member of the TTA (T6816), we also hold our own ATOL bond (T7172). We therefore provide full financial security and assistance should any part of your holiday not happen entirely to plan. If you were to assemble your holiday yourself you may not have this sort of protection.

Morocco Rediscovered has experience of arranging golf groups over recent years and our golf experts, Alex in the UK and Paul in our Agadir office, will be happy to help in any way. As well as arranging tee-off times at any of Morocco's wonderful courses, transport, guides, flights, hotels and entertainment are also available.

Golfing groups are particularly popular in Marrakech and Agadir but Morocco has many excellent courses, including international championship ones in Rabat and elsewhere. We would be happy to discuss the range of our services together with the group discounts possible at individual golf courses and hotels around the country.

ITINERARY:

DAY 1 : Arrival at Marrakech’s Airport, reception and transfer to your hotel. Evening free.

DAY 2 : After breakfast, early briefing and take delivery of your vehicle, completing the relevant forms and drive to the Palmeraie Golf Club for 18 holes(except for those residing in the Palmeraie Golf Palace). Lunch at your own expense. Evening return to your hotel.

DAY 3 : After breakfast, early drive to the Royal Marrakech Golf Club for 18holes. Lunch at your own expense. Evening return to your hotel.

DAY 4 : After breakfast, drive to the Amelkis Golf Club for 18 holes. Lunch at your own expense. Evening return to your hotel.

DAY 5 : After breakfast and at the agreed time, return your vehicle at the airport and check in for your early flight home or take the opportunity to extend you golfing stay in another of our destinations.

ITINERARY:

DAY 1 : Evening arrival at Marrakech’s International Airport , reception and transfer to your hotel. Evening free.

DAY 2 : After breakfast, early briefing and transfer to the Palmeraie Golf Club for18 holes. Lunch at your own expense. Late afternoon private tour of the historical sites and souks. Evening transfer back to your hotel.

DAY 3 : After breakfast, early transfer to the Royal Golf Marrakech for 18 holes. Lunch at your own expense and return in the evening to your hotel.

Day 4: After breakfast, early transfer to the Amelkis Golf Club for 18 holes. Lunch at your own expense and return to your hotel.

DAY 5 : After breakfast and at the agreed time, early morning transfer to the airport and return flight home, or take the opportunity to extend you golfing stay in another of our destinations.

NOTES:

The timings of transfers should be coordinated by you with your driver on a daily basis.

For those staying in the Palmeraie Golf Palace you can walk to the nearby Palmeraie Golf Club.

Buggies can be prebooked and the price adjusted accordingly. Should you prefer to exclude one of the courses and ‘double-up’ on another, please advise us so as to requote.

Should you prefer to reserve a different hotel to those shown in our programming, we shall be delighted to reserve and requote.

PALMERAIE (PALM GROVE) 5 Ball °°°°°

Located on the northern entrance to Marrakech, just above the historical bridge spanning the Oued Tensift river, Le Golf de la Palmeraie fits perfectly into the wonderful residential complex of the Jardins de la Palmeraie. Stretching upon the northern part of the residential area the links are not encumbered by surrounding buildings. The Palmeraie links are the creation of Robert Trent Jones and is a par 72 with a championship length of 6,200 metres. Nevertheless, each hole involves several tees allowing the course to be played by golfers of all levels. Several wide lakes heighten even more the technical interest of some holes and create a striking contrast with the desert neighbourhood.

In the very heart of the links stands the club house, a genuine little palace reflecting the fascinating aspects of the national architecture, with its restaurants and terraces opposite the Atlas Mountains. An underground garage shields golfers' cars from the heat of the sun and furthermore electric cars and caddies are made available to the golfers to facilitate playing on the 18 hole course.

The best varieties of grass have been imported from the USA to create the optimum conditions for golfers at all times of year. The greens, made in accordance with the specifications of the USAG were made of Bermuda grass grown in the USA at the same latitude.

AMELKIS GOLF CLUB 5 Ball °°°°°

18h 6657m Par 72

This magnificent 18 hole course was designed by Cabell Robinson. Its challenging holes will enthrall even the most demanding golfer with its bunkers, water hazards and exotic rough. The course has integrated the Khettarus, an 11th century irrigation works built by the Almoravides.

Architect: Cabell B. Robinson. Built in 1995. Next to Marrakech Royal Golf Club;

TYPE: Tough American-style fairly open course with wide, undulating fairways running through ‘khettaras’ (10 thC irrigation channels), fig, eucalyptus trees and date palm, with the impressive High Atlas Mountains ever as a backdrop.

Lakes as water hazard; many mounds, exotic rough with cactus and enormous waste bunkers made from crushed coloured rock; groves of palm and papyrus reed, greens of Pencross grass.

Elegant Club house with changing facilities and restaurant. Practice green: 100mdh.

ROYAL GOLF DE MARRAKECH - 5 Ball °°°°°

18h 6200m Par 72

Built in 1923 by Golias and Stitou, the Royal Golf course is one of the oldest in Morocco. The course is fairly narrow and winds through a profusion of cypress, eucalyptus, palm and fruit trees. The greens can sometimes be faster than the proverbial Marrakech Express; caddies and equipment can be hired.

Architects: Arnaud Massy, Gustave Gollias & Bouchaïb Stitou at behest of the then Pasha of Marrakech and opened in 1923. The longest-established course in Morocco, constantly maintained, renovated and improved: a favourite of the past King Hassan II.

Putting green, pitching green,

TYPE : English-style with narrow, undulating fairways bordered by ficus, cypress, eucalyptus, olive, cork-oak, date palm, banana, orange and apricot trees ; papyrus and hibiscus. Fast greens of Bermuda and Pencross grass. The 15 th hole will challenge the best with the greens strategically hidden behind mounds separated by bunkers with projecting palm trees.
