Security - Rediscover the World is a member of the TTA (T6816), we also hold our own ATOL bond (T7172). We therefore provide full financial security and assistance should any part of your holiday not happen entirely to plan. If you were to assemble your holiday yourself you may not have this sort of protection.

The Palais Salam has a rich heritage - it was once the palace of the local Pasha and is located just inside the impressive ramparts of Taroudannt in the Kasbah quarter. In our opinion, this hotel offers a relaxed and traditional atmosphere and is a perfect reflection of Taroudannt, which is itself a more peaceful incarnation of Marrakech. The hotel has so many places to lounge in or to explore and is so convenient for any visitor to the old town of Taroudannt and must be the hotel of choice if you are looking for a good value base or an overnight stay in this part of Morocco.

Sitting amongst the gardens and the shaded courtyards one could almost imagine the outside world had vanished, taking all the problems of the modern world with it. Taroudant was never occupied by the French and has, therefore, not developed a ville nouvelle like many other Moroccan cities and so in our opinion is a much more pure Moroccan town.

Accommodation:142 rooms (95 in Old Wing, some of which are duplex) and 14 suites dispersed around the towers and courtyards of the hotel, many old wing rooms have now been refurbished to similar standards of the new wing.

Riad I & Riad II (new wing rooms & suites) have air-conditioning, TV and mini-bar.

Facilities: International restaurant and an intimate Moroccan restaurant, room service, bar and poolside bar, two swimming pools (one heated), boutique, tennis courts (nearby), exchange, safe at reception, hammam and bicycle hire.
