Villa Jakanov
A family-run small hotel, newly opened in 2004 with suites furnished to a high standard, excellent local cuisine and a swimming pool on site.
Accommodation:
Suites / apartments are tastefully furnished in a modern style and comprise a double bedroom, sitting room and private bathroom. There is air-conditioning, TV and telephone in all units and a balcony or terrace in all but one. Some suites have an extra room which can sleep up to two children making them ideal for a family looking for an off-the-beaten-track holiday.
Facilities:
Swimming pool, sun terrace, restuarant, bar. There are some excellent walks and quiet cycle routes too.
Across the valley in the distance is Dubrovnik's Cilipi airport; however, although it is visible the airport has relatively few flights on most days and the flight path runs parallel to the valley meaning that the property is not overflown.
