A charming little hotel in the small Berber village of Ait Ourir in the foothills of the High Atlas (38 kms from Marrakech). Recommended for a stop-over south of Marrakech, ideal if you are on an independent tour travelling between the south of Morocco and the coast or the cities of the north and don't wish to negotiate Marrakech just for one night. The hotel is located alongside the River Zat bridge at the edge of the village and is very convenient near the main route to Ouarzazate.

Accommodation: Le Coq Hardi offers 24 simple rooms (and one suite) arranged in two areas - one section on two floors overlooking the pool and garden plus a few rooms directly adjacent to the pool on the other side. Rooms are double or twin and all with ensuite bathrooms.

Facilities: A large swimming pool with panoramic sun terrace; traditional restaurant serving Moroccan food and drinks and a peaceful garden.
