Trekking in Morocco

For more than two decades Rediscover the World has been arranging guided treks in Morocco, ranging from easy day hikes in the beautiful lower areas of the High Atlas to longer and more challenging treks through the Toubkal Massif, Tichka Plateau and other mountain regions.

All our treks are designed so that they can be booked as stand-alone, individual reservations but they can also be part of a longer tailor-made holiday in which we would also include your choice of accommodation and other travel arrangements in Morocco. This total freedom on how to book your trek makes them very popular as you get to enjoy the incredible beauty of the Atlas Mountains at your chosen pace and for your preferred duration and route(s).

What kind of trekking can you book with Rediscover the World?

Each trek itinerary advertised on these pages can be booked to start on any date and for any reasonable number of people to fit into your own holiday arrangements. Whether you wish to take a gentle hike in the Immouzer area (Paradise Valley) or a fully-guided and supported trek to the summit of Mount Toubkal (North Africa's highest peak at 4167m) we will be pleased to arrange everything for you.

• A full support team to carry your luggage and general equipment (by mule)
• All accommodation (modern igloo tents / Berber houses / mountain refuge)

• Private round trip transfers from Marrakech (or Agadir at a supplement)

We are also experts for accommodation in Morocco, why not book your riad in Marrakech or your small hotel in the Atlas Mountains with us at the same time as your trek.

How is the price calculated ?

Private treks of the High Atlas for all abilities can be arranged for any duration. The final cost will depend upon the number of people travelling in your individual party, the duration, transfers to/from trailheads and your pre/post trek accommodation. All our treks include private transfers from one of the main centres such as Marrakech, Agadir, Taroudant and Fez. Please ask us to arrange your accommodation, too - we are experts for small hotels and riads across Morocco.
