Enchanting Lapland - Day Trip to visit Santa - 2008

A magical one day visit to a remote location, set in the beautiful north of Finnish Lapland.

Upon arrival you will be equipped with thermal suits and boots before departing by snowmobile and sleigh direct from the airport in search of Santa Claus. There is the opportunity to appreciate the silence broken only by the sound of the snowmobiles as you proceed to the location for the day -a traditional cabin on a frozen lake. Here it will be possible to partake in a range of activities - reindeer and husky sleigh rides, horse sleigh rides & snowmobile rides for adults and children.

At this location special toboggans known as Stigas are used, these provide a better steering ability and make for a more interesting ride on the specially built toboggan course. Lunch is available in the cabin restaurant throughout the day.

A day to Lapland however is not complete without a family visit to the man himself and an opportunity to discuss your Christmas letters with him.
