Lapland Extravaganza - Day Trip to visit Santa - 2012 

A magical one day adventure offering husky & reindeer sleigh rides, snowmobiling, toboganning and much more! Set in the beautiful & tranquil Lappish countryside children of all ages will enjoy meeting the real Father Christmas in his Arctic homeland. Prepare to meet the Special Elves who have been busy sorting all the presents before Rudolph, Donner, Blitzen and the other reindeer help Santa to transport the thousands of gifts all over the world.

From the moment you check in until your arrival back in the UK your special day will be enjoyable. Breakfast will be served on the flight and with the co-operation of the airline and crew there may even be a singalong! Once you land at Kittila, it's time to disembark and change into the thermal suits and boots before heading through the snowy countryside to Santa's secret hideaway by snowmobile and sleigh.

Here you have the opportunity to enjoy reindeer and husky sleigh rides and drive snowmobiles. Try your hand at some kick sledging and tobogganing too! During the day Santa will be meeting your party individually and he has selected a present for each child visiting him. Children, don't forget to bring your letters for Santa with you as he will be delighted to receive them personally.

Lunch is available throughout the day and while simple in nature, it will be warming. Sample menus include hot soup, baked potatoes with a choice of meat or vegetarian filling and a dessert of pancakes and jam.

As you bid farewell to Santa and his Elves you will be issued with special souvenir certificates and licences commemorating your visit to Lapland and crossing the Arctic Circle. Dinner will be served on your return flight.
