Fantasia Day Trip to Lapland - 2006
Fantasia is the most northerly and least commercialised of the all-inclusive day breaks in Lapland, offering the best chance of sighting the northern lights. Fantasia allows for a fantastic array of exciting and exhilarating activities in a stunning setting.
After flying into the far north at Ivalo you will be transported deep into the heart of the Lappish wilderness where you can enjoy a wide variety of winter activities such as - husky and reindeer sleigh rides, forest biking, tobogganing, lassoo throwing, snow hockey, making snow angels and of course building snowmen. During the day you will be taken inside a traditional Lappish teepee to enjoy a Lapland ceremony. The highlight of the day is our search through the woods for the hidden log cabin where Santa is thought to live. When we find him, the chances are good that he will have time to meet the children and discuss their Christmas letters with them individually.
A simple but filling Lappish lunch of delicious salmon, potatoes and salad, is also included during the day.
