OUR MISSION STATEMENT

Our Morocco programme covers the whole country, Marrakech and the south being our main destinations. From Marrakech it is possible to visit the coast at Essaouira, Oualidia or Agadir. It is also a short journey to drive, trek or stay in the Atlas Mountains, e.g. Ouirgane, Immouzer or Imlil; and not too much further to experience the vast and majestic desert region of Morocco where the highlights include the Todra and Dades Gorges, the Kasbah Trail, the dunes at Merzouga and endless possibilities to visit the Sahara. Travelling in the other direction in a hire car, perhaps with one of our excellent driver-guides, or by train the Imperial Cities of Fez, Meknes and Rabat beckon, full of impressive historical and cultural treasures. Morocco is such a large and incredibly varied country - why not ask us to suggest an itinerary to suit your requirements and budget. We are happy to handle arrangements for groups of any size for golf holidays, cultural tours, spa breaks, special occasions, incentives and special interest tours.

Our programme to Greece is based on those islands and parts of the mainland we know and love where we have personally selected apartments, villas and smaller hotels. Our favourite places include Kassiopi on Corfu, Sivota and Parga on the mainland, the islands of Aegina and Hydra near Athens as well as the city itself, Samos and Alonissos in the Aegean and the stunning and unspoilt Lefkas in the Ionian. Twin Centre, island-hopping, guided tours and fly-drive holidays are all possible through Rediscover the World. We are also proud to introduce our trekking programme for 2010. All Rediscover the World staff have visited and guided trips to Lapland, some many times. We offer this experience to you so that your once in a lifetime day or short break is truly memorable for all the right reasons.

Madeira is a delightfully peaceful semi-tropical island, considered the 'Garden of the Atlantic'. An ideal destination for those looking for a luxury break or a walking holiday or one of our excellent fly-drive explorations of this stunningly scenic island. Around the island we are offering a personal selection of small hotels which are included in our fly-drive programmes or can be arranged as holidays off the beaten track in their own right.

Croatia's Dalmatian Coast mixes a sunny climate with historic cities and one of the most breathtaking stretches of scenic shoreline in the whole Mediterranean. Today's Croatia is one of the countries of the "New Europe", gaining independence in 1991, and is likely to take full membership of the EU very soon. However, it will not take the visitor very long to discover the evidence of a rich cultural legacy from the Greeks and Romans to the Hapsburgs and most strikingly of all, particulalry in towns like Dubrovnik, the Venetians.

Norway is a country of stunning scenery and huge contrasts and despite its geography it is relatively easy to travel around; there are excellent roads, a comprehensive schedule of internal flights and trains as well as the incredible journey offered by the Hurtigruten coastal ships. We have put together a small programme of fly-drives, short breaks and tailormade holidays promoting the unique Lofoten Islands, located just above the Arctic Circle. It is also possible to combine these with many other parts of Norway such as the capital, Oslo, and the cities of the western Fjords

Romania is one of the most unexplored parts of Europe, tucked away in a remote corner where few visit and fewer still have much knowledge, beyond the connection with the myth of Dracula. Much of Romania is virtually untouched countryside and follows a way of life that has long been extinguished, or at the very least dimished into very small pockets, elsewhere in Europe; the centuries old folklore and traditions still thrive in its picturesque villages.

Libya may well become one of the massive growth areas of the Mediterranean but following the recent civil war and overthrow of Gadaffi it could be a couple more years before we can return. We have put together a small programme of cultural and desert tours for you to enjoy this country's delights when it becomes safe to travel there again. These range from a short trip to Tripoli with the mains sites including Leptis Magna to longer holidays which include the sights of Eastern Libya (Cyrene, etc.) and the Sahara too.
