Lapland Day Break Itinerary

The Magic of Lapland day breaks are based in the Snow Village of Lainio. This unique structure comes to life each November when tons of ice and snow are brought to the village and local artists and sculptors set about transforming them into something quite unique. The Snow Village consists of a log wood restaurant, ice bar, snow hotel (each room has different carvings!), ice sculptures, souvenir shop, igloo, toboganning slope, and ice maze and is for the exclusive use of Magic of Lapland guests. A snowmobile and reindeer ride will take you into the depths of the forest near to Santa's house and you have the chance for a private family meeting with Santa in his house where each child will receive a gift. Snow fun activities include a snowmobile ride, (children too!), husky dog ride, toboganning, snow shoe walking, tandem skiing and Lappish ceremony.

A simple lunch is served in he restaurant throughout the day. Vegetarian option is available on request. A small selection of traditional Lappish souvenirs is available to buy at the log cabin shop next to the restaurant.

Includes: Thermal suits and boots, reindeer sleigh ride, husky dog sled ride, snowmobile rides, snow fun activities, Lappish ceremony, lunch, individual family visit to meet Santa, services of a Magic of Lapland representative throughout the day, Arctic circle crossing certificate.
