The walk will begin from the Old town's Ploče gate and take one of the oldest roads in Dubrovnik (6th century). The ascent is easy and leads to the village above Dubrovnik called Bosanka. While climbing up we can enjoy the view of the old town from the foothills. After about one hour of walking we come to the Napoleon's fort Imperial which was badly damaged during the war and is now a museum of the Homeland war. We take a small rest and refresh ourselves with fruit and water. Then we walk back down to the town and end our hiking tour at Pile gate.
The excursion starts at the village Gruda in the beautiful Konavle valley. We take our bikes on the small village roads that run across the lush Konavle region. The trail takes us through orchards, corn fields, vineyards, blueberry fields; we also cross the bridges on the Ljuta and Konavočica rivers. Occasional short breaks are made for getting acquainted with the historical and natural characteristics of the Konavle region such as a visit to Franciscan monastery and the old mills in Ljuta village. During our breaks we will refresh ourselves with fruit and water. Taking small village roads, we return to Gruda and a visit of the wine cellars, where you can taste and buy famous wines produced from local grapes.
Enjoy your rock climbing experience in the beautiful surroundings of Srđ Hill with a perfect view on the Dubrovnik area. Rock climbing is a physically and mentally demanding sport, one that often tests a climber's strength, endurance, agility and balance along with mental control. For the experienced ones there is climbing of a real rock face at Žarkovica, a small village on top of the hill; for those with limited or no experience a climbing school (lesson) is included - i.e. participants climb up natural rock formations with different levels of climbing routes adapted for experienced as well as beginners.
This adventure on the Adriatic sea starts beneath fort Lovrjenac in the small port called Pile, next to restaurant Orhan. After a safety briefing and instructions you will paddle beneath the city walls until you reach the hidden cave beach called Betina where you will have a short break for swimming and snorkeling. From there you will paddle around Lokrum island and explore its caves. Upon your return you will have an opportunity to enjoy the magnificent sunset in direction of the Elaphite islands. When you return to Pile port, some wine and a snack will be waiting for you.
