About Skipass Hotel
The Skipass Hotel is located in the heart of the Upper Sava Valley with views of the mighty peaks: Razor, Prisank, Špik and Tromeja and on the ski slopes of Kranjska Gora. It is a relatively new development (early 2013); the Justin family brought the idea to life to offer their love for good food, skiing and tourism. Hotel Skipass is the embodiment of warmth, cordiality and hospitality. Modern image, comfort, friendliness and great culinary experiences are the characteristics of this family hotel, which offers its guests only the best.
This hotel is available as part of any tailor made holiday with Rediscover the World.
Accommodation: the hotel has ten different rooms of three types - six superior rooms with balcony, two standard double rooms and two deluxe suites for four people. All rooms have high standard equipment.
Facilities: reception area, 'a la carte' restaurant and bar; private parking, 300 meters from the ski slopes and 200 meters from the centre of town. The main bus station is also in front of the hotel.
The restaurant in hotel Skipass will charm you with authentic flavours of the three countries and lead you into the world of memorable culinary experiences of Austria, Italy and Slovenia. Wine and food go hand in hand since ancient times. Properly combining both can make a real culinary event - good wine emphasizes the taste of food and aroma of the wine, and their harmonic balance. Allow the sommelier of the house to introduce you to a colourful array of the best Slovenian and foreign wines. Dishes featuring pasta, fresh seafood, duck and local game meat are prepared to perfection using ingredients found in the surrounding valleys and offer a refreshing combination of ancient traditions and modern style. This is really a unique experiance you shouldn't miss when staying in Kranjska Gora!
"Just to say we really enjoyed our Slovenian experience - only disappointment was the awful weather in the Julian Alps part of our trip that meant only short walks were possible between heavy downpours and we saw only the briefest glimpses of the mountains though low cloud! Hey ho the problem of going in September I guess. The hotels were uniformly good and the car was fine. The itinerary worked really well - a good mix of things. So thank you."
