Accommodation: fourteen exquisite rooms furnished with great attention to detail. Warm colours, local wooden furniture and gentle hospitality give you a special touch. All rooms are ensuite with air-conditioning, flat-screen TV, minibar, safety Deposit Box, telephone, hairdryer, wake up service/alarm clock / radio, free toiletries, slippers. Restaurant: the hotel’s restaurant ranks among the best in Slovenia; there are three dinning rooms to choose from, each elegantly furnished. Chef Zdravko Robic and his team enthrall their guests with local dishes with an international touch. Sommelier Igor Dorner Radosavljevic takes care of the wine cellar of Slovenian and foreign wines. Serving delicious regional dishes with international accents, the chefs insist on using only the freshest ingredients sourced mainly from the region. The wine selection focuses on local Slovenian blends but of course, exquisite wines from France, Italy, America are also available.

  • Chef Zdravko Robic - Since December 2015, Planinka Restaurant has been in the kitchen under the leadership of Chef Zdravko Robic. He was born in 1977 in Maribor and comes from Upper Kungota. He has worked in many restaurants - learning and refining his skills throughout the years of his work. He also spent some time working at La Truffe Noire - a Michelin-starred restaurant in Brussels, where he and chef Erik Lindelauf co-created plates. Chef Robic looks after fresh ingredients and makes dishes simple and traditional as well as innovative and completely original.
