About Ksar Anika
The Ksar Anika is located in a quiet corner of the Mellah area of the medina, tucked against the walls of the fabulous Bahia Palace with taxi [or caleche] access to front door. The Djemma el Fna is just 15 minutes walk. Traditional riad design on a slightly larger scale offers the guest the best of boutique hotel facilities combined with riad luxury and individual design. The Ksar Anika's entrance and reception area leads you into the light and shade of the traditional courtyards. There is also a huge roof terrace with many places to relax, sunbathe, read or enjoy a drink or snack. A number of salons are also available for guests depending upon the time of year and day, for example the winter salon is covered and has a massive open fire at one end.
Accommodation: Ksar Anika has 17 rooms and suites as follows:
Even standard rooms are large in comparison to many riads; lots of thought, time and expense has gone into the design and fitting of the rooms. Classically grounded Moroccan decoration is embellished in many ways to produce each room with a different style, shape and size.
No TVs in rooms but an excellent cinema room for use of TV or DVD collection; i-pod docks in rooms; Half Board available; rates include Moroccan breakfast, free tea & coffee (between 2pm and 5pm); one free use of hammam, water, fruit and flowers in room, free use of gym, local taxes. All rooms have en suite bathrooms, air conditioning, minibar, safe, hairdryer, telephone, room service, coffee machine, bathrobes. Free wi-fi throughout.
Facilities: Breakfast (and other meals for that matter) can be served throughout the riad; there is a roof top snack bar and a full restaurant for guests to eat a la carte or on half board. The restaurant is named 'SIX' as each section of the menu is restricted to six dishes chosen by the chef based upon fresh, seasonal ingredients purchased each day from the local markets.
The riad has a very large (for a riad) heatable pool and full spa facilities including hammam and beauty treatment rooms.

"Thank you for organising a fantastic holiday for us. The hotels were all good and the desert excursion was something to remember (despite lack of sunrise and sunset - cloudy). We have to thank our driver Jamal who really made our holiday for us. He took us to all sorts of places that we would never have visited and was keen to show us everything about Moroccan culture. Nothing was too much trouble for him and he ensured our comfort at all time for example careful driving, stopping at clean western style toilets, providing bottled water and good coffee stops. We would thoroughly recommend him to everybody."

"We are having a most enjoyable holiday in Morocco; the country seems to be as tolerant as its people. Both the train journeys were very comfortable and I am sure the next part of travelling by our private taxi is going to be as good. Our driver Amin is a friendly, calm, polite young man and is very knowledgable. Rabat and Fez are very interesting and require more than just a few days of exploration, but tomorrow we will be on our way back to Marrakach via the Atlas Mountains. By the end if our trip our historical knowledge will have increased considerably! Our driver is full of knowledge and a real gentleman. This trip is amazing. Now I will spread the word about Rediscover the World."

"Holiday was amazing. Thanks so much. We booked with Rediscover because when we first spoke you clearly got exactly what we wanted from the trip and that was so clearly the right trip"

"Overall we thoroughly enjoyed it. The scenery in both the desert & the mountains is spectacular as you know. I think all the accommodation was either good or great particularly given the environment in which it was situated (maybe the first Guest House we stayed in could be improved a bit). I probably won?t rush to ride a camel again ? fun but tricky to walk immediately afterwards. Our mountain guide (Mohammed) was brilliant as were the Muleteers (Mustapha & Hammed). Couldn?t praise them highly enough. Our desert guide (Rashid) was great for the first 2 days but then something seemed to switch on the last day and he was quite distant and unconcerned - an example would be that he asked that we get up and have breakfast on the final desert day at 06:00 (which we duly did) whereas he and his colleague actually served breakfast at 06:50 (their alarm didn?t go off until 06:20 as I heard it!). No big deal really but when we mentioned that we had been ready at 06:00 he simply laughed. Also in 50C heat it helps to have AirCon that works and is switched on ? he didn?t like it but I think he needs to deal with this. All the other Complete Tours staff were great."

"We had a FAB time and really enjoyed ourselves. The service at the Kasbah Tatfi was charming but utterly chaotic. Luckily the wonderful setting made up for the lot."

"Our holiday was luxurious and well organised. The accommodations were all beautiful with welcoming staff. We had a fabulous introduction to morocco. Our main driver was very well informed and attentive to our needs. The service throughout and was excellent and personalised. We had lots of privacy and quiet seclusion."

"We really enjoyed our trip to Morocco, the connections, accommodation and guides were all meeting or exceeding our expectations. All connections and bookings went as planned or otherwise advised on the trip. In particular we must give praise to our guide from Imlil in the High Atlas Mountains- Mohamed (?) would have to be one of the best in the business, a genuine man with a lovely family, great companion and excellent skills. His awareness of the surrounding conditions and our abilities ensured that we were always safe but also able to enjoy the experiences. On our first meeting it was the feast of Eid, which meant that original plans needed to be adjusted. Mohamed arranged for his brother to collect us and take us to his mothers house for a share of the traditional feast of lamb, a remarkable day for us. We will in future and have already recommended your group to others. Thank you from both of us."

"our holiday in Morocco was brilliant - the 2 hotels you set us up with were both fantastic, particularly the second which was pretty special and the perfect thing after 4 days trekking. The trek was also brilliant and we were stunned by the scenery - our guide Mahumad (please excuse my spelling) deserves particular credit for striking the right balance overall and making the whole thing work very smoothly - if possible, please pass on our sentiments to him, or whoever employs him directly - he is a talented chap and deserves the credit. our muleteer was also excellent and the food was generous and spot on every time. - we'd recommend this package to anyone."

"I just wanted to write to let you know that we had an enchanting holiday in Morocco, we are so glad we chose your company as the whole experience, form beginning to end was incredibly easy. We loved every Riad, every new experience. It was our first time in Morocco but we are all in love with the place in very different ways. I particularly loved the Atlas mountains and Jama's amazing hospitality at Tatfi, the freshly grown food and her superb cooking. My eldest daughter loved Ksar Anika, the way we were looked after, the beautiful surroundings, the pool and the opulence. My youngest fell in love with Essaouria and although there is a mustiness to the Riad Mimouna it is such an astounding place, we were given two sea-view rooms and fell asleep to the sound of the waves crashing on the ancient sea wall. We will go back so you will hear from us again. Once again thank you so much."
