At the foothills of Meteora, by the old square of Kastraki is a building which has stood there since 1845. The building has had many uses over the years: butchers, grocers, barbers and tailors all worked from this building and it has been restored using traditional materials - primarily stone and wood.
Within walking distance you'll see the enormous rocks, monasteries, chapels, paths small woods. Kastraki, the village, lies to the west of Meteora and is amphitheatrically built among enormous rocks. Uphill in the eastern part of the village you will see the old picturesque quarters of the village.
There are only 5 rooms, one of which is an accessible room. Three rooms have a fireplace & one room has a Jacuzzi bath. All 5 rooms are en suite and have air conditioning, central heating, telephone, fridge, satellite TV. They all enjoy breathtaking views of Meteora.
Breakfast is served in the cellar near the fireplace or in the garden in the summer. You can savour home-made pies, jams, bread, vegetables and fruit (from the hotel's vegetable garden) and traditional pastries.
The hotel also has parking.
